These portraits are being made to celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary. It is hoped that all members will be photographed in time for the June, 2014 celebrations.
Surfing is inextricably linked to photography. With this series I have referenced both traditional silver based photography, originally made on glass or tin plates, as well as some of the contemporary instagram looks that pay homage to these authentic processes.
